The IP or the Internet Protocol is the logical address of a computer connected with an internet connection. IP is in the form of quad decimal numbers separated by a full stop. It is just like your PC address through which one can locate and communicate with you and even they can track your PC. And the system which is connecting and manipulating these computers or clients is known as networking. There are two types of networking i.e. Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN). In both these systems, the IP of each client fluctuates the principal communications protocol in the IP suite for communicating within the datagram across network boundaries. Through this system, one can send a single message to different computers within the network.
While In networking Internet Protocol there are 32 binary bits which are divided into a network and host portion equally. These bits are divided into octets (1 octet = 8 bits) and each octet is converted into binary form. Each network operator or organization develops the network IPs as per the division written above. This division varies according to the number of clients in that network. This division subsequently conveys the IP address to each client connected to that network.
