Anti-participatory Environment Exists among Pakistani Students

Pakistani students are always considered to be shy, less expressive and more anti-participatory as compared to the students of the west. The students of Pakistan are more comfortable while they are quiet and are not willing to participate in any of the activities or even the discussions. This is a very negative behavior which also restricts them to groom their personality.

Anti-participatory Environment Exists among Pakistani StudentsThe age of the students is the ideal age in which the individual creates its own personality and in Pakistan the students are so anti-participatory and reserved that they creates such a personality for their entire life which always keep them on the back foot and could not express themselves. There are so many reasons which have contributed in this behavior of the students of Pakistan amongst which few of them are explained below;

  • The very basic reason for this behavior is the lack of knowledge. This is the fact that the students of Pakistan are usually in deficit of knowledge; either it is regarding the history, technology or even any other topic, their lack of knowledge and information forces them to remain silent and not to participate in any of the respective discussions held in class or anywhere else.
  • Lack of confidence is also one major reason for which we exhibit an anti-participatory behavior and environment amongst the students of Pakistan. There could be again so many reasons for which this lack of confidence is being observed which might include the weakness of communication skills in the students which is one of the most common problems of the students of Pakistan where they don’t feel comfortable while communicating and once the communication is in English language the situations become even worse and unfavorable for the students.
  • The family environment and the background of the Pakistani students is also one core reason for witnessing the non-participatory behavior and environment amongst the students of Pakistan. Mainly the families of the Pakistani students is uneducated and have the background which are not that much bright and active as far as modern education is being concerned, so this home environment is also reflected in the personalities of the students which makes them less active and less confident while they are brought under considerations. This doesn’t means that the students are weak and are not active as far as educational obligations are concerned, even bright students have this problem in which they are not willing to participate but once they are being given the opportunity to prove themselves they make the most out of the opportunity.
