A Demo Essay recently written upon The Fruits Of Labor Are Sweeter Than The Gifts Of Fortune. Human beings do tend to work hard so that they can get what they are striving for, in such cases there are two scenarios which generally occurs in normal situations, the person who is striving and working hard to achieve anything can get it either by working hard, striving for it, putting the high efforts and entire focus in it and achieves it, that will be considered as the fruit of labor, means that the achievement which is being achieved through hard work, while there is another scenario that the things which a person dreams to obtain, he/she gets it but not due to his efforts but due to his good fortune, such achievement is being known as the gifts of fortune. In both the cases the man has achieved what he dream for but in both the cases the happiness and the satisfaction is very different.
The Fruits Of Labor Are Sweeter Than The Gifts Of Fortune Essay
When a person achieves what he aims after putting the efforts and his hard work in it that is the time when he feels mentally satisfied, because he knew that what he has achieved is because of his efforts and his faith of hard work and efforts will become more and more strong which will give him the lesson of a life time that hard works do tend to pay back. At the same time the success and achievement which is being done on the basis of labor, hard work and personal efforts will be long time achievements as the person will be able to sustain them and even get them back and retain them if slight ups and downs are being seen in the life.
While on the other hand the success and the achievement which is being obtained by the blessings of the nature and the good fortune, will no doubt be pleasing and glorifying but at the same time it will not be that much satisfactory as the mental satisfaction will be lacking in it which means that although you have got what you aimed for but you are not sure how you got it, in such scenarios the success is short timed and at the same time is not certain that every time the person will be able to obtain it or retain it due to good fortune. So I agree with this statement that the Fruits of Labor are sweeter than the gifts of Fortune, and we should rely on the efforts and hard work instead of being dependent on the good fortune.
