Actually UET Lahore announces to intake admissions for Distance Learning for Master of Applied Chemistry, Master of Applied Mathematics,Master of Applied Physics and last but not least is Master of Business Administration(MBA). There are silent features of above programs are given below. Master in Applied Sciences are offered in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, Business Administration (MBA) are full-time degree Programs. Eligibility Criteria for these programs are that Applicants must have passed BA/BSc (14-years of education) with 1st Division from Higher Education Commission(HEC) recognized University with relevant major.
He/she must have minimum 50% score in admission test. The Minimum and maximum time limit for completion of degree is 2 years ad 4 years respectively.The minimum requirement for fulfillment of degree is 60-70 credit hours course work delivered via internet, CDs and instructional materials. There is an opportunity of electives in 2nd year. Research Projects and Lab. work will be carried out at UET Main Campus in the respective departments, while examinations will be conducted at study centers of UET, i.e., Kala Shah Kaku and Faisalabad campuses. Each academic year have two semesters of 17-18 weeks. There is no difference in curriculum, the examination papers and the final degrees offered between on-campus and Distance Learning students.
