BISE (Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education) has announced the national talent scholarships 2014 for the highest scorers in the academic year of 2014. These scholarships will be given on the basis of secondary school (annual) examination 2014. The board has decided to award the scholarships to one candidate among per 300 successful candidates. With this announcement board has also clarified that there will be no discrimination of regular and private students. The students who have high scores can apply and can simply get nominated for the scholarship. Government is trying to help out the students on financial basis so that they can continue their studies without any restriction. It has also a purpose to establish and enhance the interest of the students in higher studies. Board of intermediate and secondary education has also launched different scholarship programs in the favor of brilliant but needy students. BISE Scholarships 2014 For Highest Scorers
The board has given a certain plan according to which the scholarships will be given. Under this plan the board has decided to give Rs. 4,600/- and also Rs. 1,000/- for the expenditures related to the books of the course. The scholars of day time will be given an amount of Rs. 7,000/- for the dues of the residence in the hostel. Despite to this the day scholars will also be given Rs. 300/- every month however residents of the hostel will also get Rs. 500/- per month.
To avail this opportunity the eligible candidates are required to apply first. The candidates can apply for the scholarships in accordance with their respective college. The board will send cheques to the college in the form of cross cheque. After the publication of this news the candidates can visit the BISE Lahore Office assistant.
All the charge and responsibility of acting is given to the voice chancellor of UET (University of Engineering and Technology), Lahore: Prof. Dr. Zubair Ahmad Khan. Prof Dr. Khan is the senior most professor of the university of Engineering and Technology Lahore.
Note: it is hereby notified that the scholarship will be given only to the highest scorers candidates who have applied. The candidates who have high scores but have not applied will not be eligible for these scholarships.
