Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has announced the opening of online admissions for Intermediate Part I for the academic year 2024. The admission process caters to both Open Merit and Self-Supporting Programs, covering various disciplines. The admissions will be granted based on BISE Grade-IX results, in line with the directives of the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria
For Matriculation Candidates
- Candidates who have passed their 9th class in 2023 and appeared in the 10th class annual exams in 2024.
- Students must have passed their matriculation and may apply based on their 9th-grade results.
- Candidates who fail in the 10th class will be removed from the university roll, and any fees paid will not be refunded.
Ineligible Conditions
- Students who failed the combined exams of 9th and 10th in 2024.
- Students with one or more failed subjects in the 9th class.
- Candidates who passed SSC in supplementary exams of 2019 or earlier.
For O-Level/Equivalent Candidates
- O-Level/equivalent qualification holders can apply provisionally.
- Candidates must submit their complete result details (8 subjects as per IBCC rules).
- Required subjects include English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and Mathematics.
Self-Supporting Program Criteria
- Admissions are granted based on merit from Grade IX marks.
- The fee structure is separate from Regular Programs.
Reserved Seats
- 2% for physically challenged students.
- 2% for students excelling in sports.
- 2% for students with reserved religious certificates.
- 15 seats for foreign students.
- 30 seats for students from specified regions (e.g., Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, etc.).
- 10% for university teaching and administrative staff children.
Application Process
- Online Admission: Fill out and submit the online admission form. The processing fee is Rs. 1000/-.
- Documents Required:
- Online admission form printout.
- Paid processing fee receipt.
- Three passport-sized photographs.
- Photocopies of Form B, Father/Guardian’s CNIC, and candidate’s SSC Result Card/Certificate.
- O-level candidates need additional documents as per IBCC.
