The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan(USEFP) is pleased to announce the 2013 Undergraduate Exchange Program for Pakistan. Actually this Program is intended to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States(USA) and the People of Pakistan and provides full-time undergraduate students from Pakistan with the opportunity to enrich their education and experience through one semester of full-time, non-degree academic study in the United States. This Program will also expose fellows to the principle of social responsibility in the U.S through a community service Component.

Eligibility Criteria

  1.     Pakistani citizens
  2.     25 years or younger
  3.     Currently enrolled in a college or university and committed to returning to their home universities following the completion of the program.
  4.     Strong leadership qualities and potential in their university and community activities
  5.     Serious interest in learning about the United States
  6.     High level of academic achievement, as indicated in grades, awards and teacher recommendations
  7.     Proficiency in English
  8.     Students from diverse backgrounds, especially those students who have not previously had opportunities to travel internationally are encouraged to apply


  1.     Applicants with a dual U.S./Pakistani nationality or U.S. permanent residence
  2.     Those who have a parent, spouse or fiancé who is a U.S citizen or permanent U.S resident
  3.     Employees of the Fulbright organization or the U.S. Department of State
  4.     People who have applied for immigration to any country
  5.     Students in their final year of university
