It was established to address an acute shortage of doctors in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The college was established during Ataullah Mengal’s reign as Chief Minister in the year of 1972 by the then Education Minster Mir Gul Khan Nasirboth were from National Awami Party and has graduated over 2,900 students. Now this college has become and leading medical college of Pakistan and offering admission for the year of 2017, All the admission Procedure for the interested candidates want to apply is given below:

Admission Procedure:

• Applications are invited for 1st year MBBS and 1st year BDS by the Principal of Bolan Medical College, Candidates are informed that no notice will be issued individually to the candidates for inviting application, communication of result of the interviews or any other instruction to the candidate.
• Application are required to be submitted on or before the last date given by the college after that date the applications shall not be acceptable at all.
• The selection of candidate for admission to 1st year MBBS and BDS class shall be made by the selection committee strictly according to condition laid in the prospectus.

Eligibility Criteria:

• For getting admission for MBBS/ BDS courses candidates must have done F.Sc (Pre-Medical) from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Balochistan, Quetta or any other recognized board or University of Pakistan.
• Candidates must have to obtained and submit the equivalence certificate (issued by Chairman of I.B.C.C) Islamabad if he/she applies for admission on the basis of G.C.E and American/ Canadian High School Examination or A Level etc.
• Candidates who have 60% marks in F.Sc or equivalent examination are eligible to apply, Second divisors selected would be given admission in MBBS/BDS only in BMC, Quetta as the Medical institution of Sister Provinces would not grant them admission.

Every Candidate has to appear in the entry test which is compulsory for getting admission in MBBS/BDS courses at all. Merit will be determined on the basis of combined marks of Matriculation , F.Sc and entry test as per following weightage:

• Matriculation 10%
• Intermediate 40%
• Entry Test 50%

Interview and Selection:

• The Selection of candidates for admission to 1st year MBBS/BDS courses shall be made only by the Selection Commission Committee
• The meeting of the Selection Committee will be held at the suitable place where they will conduct the interviews of selected candidates
• Candidates must be present on the interview day, date and place given by the College
• The decision of the Selection Committee shall be submitted to the Goverment for the Final approval after that the candidate will get admission in Bolan Medical College.
• No Provisional admission will be given to any candidate at all
• No candidate shall be given admission if He/She has not been recommended by the Selection Committee.
• The candidate seeking admission to Bolan Medical College shall have to produce before the selection committee a Local/Domicile certificate issued by the concerned authorities officer of the respective district.
• The Selection Committee shall have the right to verify any documents etc submitted by the candidates through any department concerned to satisfy the genuineness of the matter prior to Finalization of its recommendation
