British Council and The Scottish Government Jointly announces Pakistan Scottish Scholarships Scheme. The Scottish Government generates Scholarship opportunities for Young Women In Pakistan so far. This recognizes the challenges which Young women face in continuing their education and the vital contribution which young women can make to the development of their society so far. This Pakistan Scottish Scholarships Scheme aims to create opportunities for young Women in Pakistan by offering Scholarships, which allows women from disadvantaged backgrounds to study at the Master’s level in Pakistani Universities.

The British Council Pakistan will administer the PS3 in Pakistan and coordinate with the selected scholars for their tuition fee, subsistence, etc. According to this Pakistan Scottish Scholarships Scheme will facilitate award-holders with the following incentives:

  1. Tution Fee for Master’s courses
  2. University Hostel Costs
  3. Subsistence to the award-holder
  4. Travel to and from home to University, three times in a year

Pakistan Scottish Scholarships Scheme Subject Areas

Young Women can avail this Scholarship opportunity by applying for a Master’s degree at any HEC recognized university of Pakistan in one of the following areas:

  1. Sustainable Energy
  2. Food Security and Agriculture
  3. Education

Requirements for Pakistan Scottish Scholarships Scheme is as listed below:

  1. Candidate should be a Pakistani National, currently residing in Pakistan
  2. PS3 is only for females
  3. Age Limit 35 years
  4. Undertaking a one or two-year Master’s programme Only
  5. Candidate should hold a confirmed offer from a HEC-rcognized University in Pakistan
  6. Candidate from rural areas are encouraged to apply
